It’s true that here at The Lark, we are always celebrating the musicians of Nebraska. This Fall we are putting the spotlight on 8 Nebraska bands/artists, August thru November, starting this Saturday with Jack Hotel, one of the best and most original folk,Americana acts in the Midwest. Songsmith, Gunter Voelker writes songs like short stories, creating vivid characters and dialog that come alive through the lyrics and melodies. The band was in town just two weeks ago as part of Hear Nebraska’s Good Living Tour. We realize that the dedication for the new Jackson Dinsdale Art Center is earlier Saturday evening. Make it an arts evening and come to both !!!!

Here’s the line up of great Nebraska shows !!! All shows start at 7:30. Tickets are available online and at the door. We are working to get all tickets on the website.¬†

Saturday, August 20- Jack Hotel- folk, Americana

Friday, September 2- Walk by Sea ( indie/alternative ); Blet ( rock ); and Andrea Von Kampen ( singer/songwriter )

Friday, September 16- The Talbott Brothers- Americana grassroots rock/folk

Thursday, September 29- Daniel Christian- singer/songwriter

Thursday, November 3- Matt Cox- Country blues, roots

Friday, November 18- The Craftsmen- the mystery band from Kearney, MO featuring Grand Island native (dinosaur man ) Gary Staab.
