Music on the Mezzanine

Eight weeks ago The Lark celebrated the completion of our mezzanine level. For me, the mezzanine completes the first floor performance space with 2 balconies and a green room for our performers. But “the mezz”, as we have affectionately named it, also has a skylight classroom and a small boardroom.

The mission of The Lark is to celebrate art, music and life, and so it was a great gift when Douglas Singer walked into my office in late July and said he was looking for a space to relaunch his music academy, Singer Music Academy. He needed room for private and group piano and voice classes. Our Skylight Classroom fit the bill!!!
