Fans of the Listening Room Concert Series know that the root of this endeavor starts with the songwriting. There is something magical about being part of an artist’s journey of turning feelings and experiences into a melody, a chorus, lyrics and eventually a song… music that is relatable and appeals to the senses of the audience.
We are excited to welcome back to the stage at The Lark, Laura Wortman and Kagey Parris, otherwise known as The Honey Dewdrops. This award-winning husband and wife duo have received critical acclaim for their ability to bring traditional Appalachian music together with contemporary styling that is enhanced by vocal harmonies and dynamic instrumentation.
Audiences are drawn in, as they are honest in their delivery and heartfelt in their performance. The Honey Dewdrops are a true Americana singer-songwriter group that will break down walls and take you on an musical journey. Please plan to join us on Nov. 6th as we welcome Laura & Kagey to the Listening Room! If you haven’t heard them before, listen to their song “Lowlands” from their most recent album, Tangled Country.
The opening act for this show will be The Wildwoods from Lincoln, NE
