Lark Front of Building

Mission:  The Lark celebrates and nurtures art, music, and life.

Purpose: The Lark fosters the arts in Hastings and surrounding communities; providing artistic and cultural growth through observation, education, inspiration and participation.

The Lark is an intimate and beautiful performance and gathering space with superior acoustics, versatile lighting, and contemporary design grounded by historic elements. We will help you create a beautiful, well coordinated event in this intimate atmosphere and will make your special event truly special.

The Lark produces in-house arts programming and hosts visiting arts organizations as well as a variety of community and family meetings and events.

In addition to The Lark being a premier rental space in Downtown Hastings, we are also home to The Listening Room concert series. We host 12-16 concerts throughout the year featuring some of the country’s most amazing performers.  Whether you like blues, bluegrass, jazz, folk or country, we have a variety of music.

The room is set up with reserved seating (tables of 2 or tables of 4) and general seating. Our reserved seating sells fast, so you should make your reservations a week in advance. Capacity seating is 200 and the acoustics of our room are superior.

The Listening Room Concert Series is a 501(c)3 non-profit and it’s board of directors is the governing body for our building, The Lark.
